Ron Howell

I'm Ron Howell, the founder of this firm, and I have been self-employed for over 30 years. I'm a native of the Tampa Bay area and have lived here all my life.

I studied accounting, taxation and business at the University of South Florida and tax law at the Washington School of Law and the Washington Institute for Graduate Studies. I hold 4 professional certifications in accounting and taxation. Previously, I was a Senior Tax Manager and Director of Small Business Services at KPMG Peat Marwick, one of the largest accounting firms in the world and a member of the "Big Four."

I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in accounting and taxation. Our annual licensing and professional association memberships require us to complete 40+ hours per year of continuing education to ensure that we are always familiar with the latest developments in our field.

When not working, I am an avid sailor and runner and enjoy family time with my two children's families which includes four grandchildren.
